The “sources” you are all linking to are using misleading headlines. No where in the articles do they say that tumblr actually approved of the purchase. Yahoo’s board just literally approved of the purchase, there’s no way they’ve proposed a deal to tumblr yet.
Tumblr will probably sell. But Yahoo probably won’t actually change anything. The only people who are likely going to notice change are tumblr’s investors who will suddenly have a lot more money.
